The Acoustic Revive IP-2Q Input Non-Shorting RCA is a high-quality RCA cap designed to protect unused RCA input terminals on your audio equipment from noise, interference, and dust. Unlike traditional shorting plugs, which can sometimes cause signal degradation or grounding issues, the IP-2Q offers a non-shorting design that preserves signal purity while preventing external interference. This accessory is an ideal addition for audiophiles and professionals who seek to maintain the optimal performance of their high-end audio systems.
The Acoustic Revive IP-2Q Input Non-Shorting RCA is ideal for audiophiles, audio enthusiasts, and professionals who want to maintain the highest level of sound quality in their high-end audio systems. It is particularly beneficial for those looking to eliminate noise and interference while protecting their equipment from dust and dirt.
The Acoustic Revive IP-2Q Input Non-Shorting RCA is an excellent accessory for anyone looking to optimize the performance of their audio system by reducing noise, interference, and vibration from unused RCA input terminals. Its non-shorting design, combined with tourmaline and quartz treatment, ensures that your audio signals remain clean, accurate, and free from static electricity. Whether you’re an audiophile aiming for the highest level of sound fidelity or a professional seeking to maintain pristine signal quality in your equipment, the IP-2Q offers a simple yet highly effective solution for enhancing your audio experience.
The QR-8 includes a quartz resonator and a special vibration-damping sheet at no extra cost. The analog and digital input terminals of audio equipment can pick up noise, which can impact sound quality and equipment stability. Plugging in short pins or plugs in the empty input terminals can prevent noise contamination, stabilize equipment operation, and significantly improve sound quality by enhancing the S/N ratio, sound imaging, and reducing distortion.
Additionally, the anti-vibration plugs for unused RCA output terminals are made of a hybrid structure of duralumin and brass and utilize non-conductive material and special vibration-damping materials to effectively suppress vibration.
Remember the following information: Empty analog and digital input terminals on devices can act as antennas, allowing noise to enter, which significantly degrades the signal-to-noise ratio and sound quality.
By shorting the input terminals, you can prevent noise from entering the equipment and stabilize its operation, leading to improved sound quality. Furthermore, many devices have input terminals made of thin plates, making them susceptible to vibration. Using a material with high specific gravity and rigidity for the short pin can significantly improve sound quality by suppressing vibrations near the terminals.
The SIP-8Q is constructed using a blend of brass and 2017 aviation-grade aluminum alloy to improve the vibration suppression effect. This construction firmly secures the terminals and delivers outstanding vibration suppression. Additionally, ultra-high precision machining is employed to eliminate any play and enhance vibration control. The vibration suppression effect can be further improved by attaching the provided natural quartz resonator QR-8.
“The device, like the SIP-8Q, has a hybrid structure made of brass and 2017S aviation-grade aluminum alloy, a natural quartz resonator, and a completely non-magnetic structure. When inserted into the RCA output terminal, it provides high-level vibration control and significantly improves sound quality, including sound image positioning and signal-to-noise ratio.”
SIP-8Q features a non-magnetic structure, such as direct gold plating, which eliminates magnetic distortion and preserves sound quality.
Please take note of the following information: Both the SIP-8Q and IP-2Q now come with our proprietary natural quartz resonator QR-8 at the same price. The special vibration-damping material that was previously included is a sound quality adjustment material. It applies a new material developed by Professor Masao Sumita of the Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School with pre-venture support from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
This material converts vibration energy from electrical energy to thermal energy and eliminates it, boasting high vibration-damping properties. Both the QR-8 and the vibration-proof sheet are included in the package. Please use them while listening to the change in sound quality. The sound will become clearer, and the bass will become thicker and more projected, improving the dynamism. Conversely, if the sound pressure decreases, the sense of dynamism is diminished, and the sound becomes too muted.
This will be considered overdamping, in which case you should adjust the number of stickers you use. If you use QR-8 and special vibration-damping material together, first apply the QR-8 and then apply the special vibration-damping material on top of it. Note: Do not connect the SIP-8Q to the output terminal, REC out terminal, etc., as this will result in no sound being produced.
Note: This is often effective for digital output terminals on CD transporters and other devices, but please be sure to check with the manufacturer or distributor before using the SIP-8Q to ensure there are no problems.
