Vibration control isn’t only for turntables. In modern hi-fi and AV systems, micro-vibration can affect mechanical stability in players, power devices, and network/streaming equipment—especially as systems become more resolving. The RKI-1803 was developed to bring Acoustic Revive’s “ore-impregnated silicone” concept into a small, easy-to-place format that can be used in many locations where traditional large feet are impractical.
Small size, big impact: tuned for compact devices
Acoustic Revive positions the RKI-1803 as the compact edition of its Guiyang stone impregnated silicone insulator concept, designed to deliver a strong vibration absorption effect even on small chassis and accessories. Because it is only 18mm in diameter and 3mm thick, you can use it where larger feet don’t fit—under mini streamers, compact DACs, small power supplies, network switches, or lightweight speakers.
Guiyang stone powder + silicone: vibration absorption and anti-static support
The RKI-1803 silicone is impregnated with Guiyang stone powder, and the insulator is described as using a unique vibration-processing structure. Acoustic Revive also states that when pressure is applied by the weight of the component, the material can generate negative ions, supporting an anti-static effect that can contribute to improved perceived sound quality. Until now, insulators have simply added their own unique sound based on the physical properties and characteristics of each material, and it was a matter of whether that suited the listener’s preference. At ACOUSTIC REVIVE, we sourced and tested materials from all over the world that could improve quality without generating any inherent sound, and the materials we finally found were natural smoky quartz and natural quartz. Natural smoky quartz and natural quartz not only improve quality without generating any inherent sound, but they also add an organic, lifelike quality to the reproduced sound. You will surely be surprised by the lifelike transformation of the reproduced sound of instruments and vocals, as if they have been breathed with life.
It’s also effective for uses other than as an insulator!
The RIQ-5010 can be used not only as an insulator, but also simply by placing it on top of equipment or near various cable inputs and outputs, you can obtain the same organic and vivid effect as when used as an insulator. There are theories that this is because natural quartz has electromagnetic wave absorption and suppression effects, or emits far-infrared rays, but regardless of the truth, there is no doubt that it has a sound quality improvement effect that cannot be obtained with any other material.

While quartz glass and other natural stones have been used as insulators in the past, natural smoky quartz and natural quartz do not produce the hardness or dryness associated with these materials. They are characterized by a warm, smooth, and organic sound that is rich and mellow. Yet, they also brilliantly balance seemingly contradictory elements such as a crisp attack and quick decay.
We will secure raw materials and continue production as much as possible.
Both natural smoky quartz and natural quartz are extremely rare materials. We have secured high-quality raw materials and will continue production as long as possible, but we will discontinue production once high-quality raw materials become unavailable.
