Adoption of PC-TripleC
The SPC-TripleC series incorporates the innovative PC-TripleC conductor, developed using a forging process as the world’s first conductor specifically designed for audio.
A Luxuriously Crafted Cable Structure
The ultimate goal of any cable is to eliminate transmission loss and distortion—in essence, to achieve a “cable-less” state. No cable inherently improves sound quality; when a cable change alters the sound, it’s merely the way transmission losses and distortions manifest differently.
At ACOUSTIC REVIVE, our mission is to pursue the ideal of being cable-less.
To eliminate transmission loss and distortion, ACOUSTIC REVIVE has collaborated with specialized material manufacturers to break free from conventional cable-making concepts and develop a groundbreaking cable structure.
The single-core conductor, which plays a key role in sound quality, uses the world’s first PC-TripleC technology. In cooperation with FCM Co., we have further refined the conductor into an elliptical shape, eliminating the natural resonance associated with single-core conductors.
For shielding, we co-developed a Teflon-coated flexible copper tube with Shinagawa Shoko Co., achieving unparalleled shielding properties while maintaining the flexibility of a single-core cable. To achieve air insulation and prevent static buildup, we developed a natural silk tube in collaboration with Ebisawa Co. Additionally, the connectors, developed with Matsukane Co., feature a vibration-damping structure using dissimilar metals and a screw-fastening design to avoid the sound degradation caused by soldering.
These innovative materials, developed from scratch, are meticulously handcrafted into a one-of-a-kind, luxurious cable structure that truly sets a new standard.
Advantages of Single-Core Conductors
ACOUSTIC REVIVE was the first in the world to use “single-core” conductors in its analog cables. Traditionally, analog cables have used “stranded” conductors, which consist of multiple thin wires twisted together. However, stranded wires are prone to a phenomenon known as “strand jumping,” where stray currents, called eddy currents, occur as signals jump between the individual wires. These eddy currents are a major cause of distortion, noise, and unwanted sound artifacts.
In contrast, single-core conductors, by design, eliminate the occurrence of eddy currents, preventing the generation of distortion, noise, and unwanted sound coloration.
