Adoption of PC-TripleC
The headphone cable from ACOUSTIC REVIVE features the revolutionary PC-TripleC conductor, developed using a forging process as the world’s first conductor designed exclusively for audio. >> More on PC-TripleC
Advantages of Single-Core Conductors
ACOUSTIC REVIVE was the first in the world to use a “single-core” conductor in headphone cables. Traditionally, headphone cables have used stranded conductors, which are made by twisting multiple thin wires together. However, stranded wires are prone to a phenomenon called “strand jumping,” where stray currents, known as eddy currents, occur as the signal jumps between the individual wires. These eddy currents contribute to distortion, noise, and unwanted sound coloration.
In contrast, single-core conductors, by design, eliminate the occurrence of eddy currents, preventing distortion, noise, and unwanted artifacts. This results in a cleaner, more accurate sound free from the typical issues associated with stranded wires.
Exceptional Teflon Insulation and Two-Core Shielded Structure for Headphone Cables
The conductivity of a cable is influenced not only by the conductor itself but also by the insulation material and cable structure. At ACOUSTIC REVIVE, we use Teflon insulation, which has a superior dielectric constant compared to conventional materials. While standard PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation has a dielectric constant of 5.6, Teflon boasts a much lower dielectric constant of 2.1, resulting in minimal transmission loss and significantly faster signal transmission.
Moreover, most standard headphone cables use a single-core coaxial structure, where the hot (+) and cold (−) conductors experience different conditions, causing phase distortion. In contrast, ACOUSTIC REVIVE adopts a two-core shielded structure, ensuring that both the hot (+) and cold (−) conductors operate under identical conditions, achieving accurate phase characteristics.
To further enhance sound quality, the cable features natural silk as a cushioning material to prevent static electricity and a PC-TripleC shield to block external noise. Every material and design choice is uncompromisingly focused on delivering superior sound performance.
Additionally, the cable is equipped with FineMet beads, which completely eliminate noise during signal transmission.
At ACOUSTIC REVIVE, we have implemented FineMet beads in our headphone cables—a first for this product category. These beads are capable of completely eliminating noise during transmission. As a result, the noise that was previously unavoidable from headphone amplifiers and other audio equipment no longer reaches the headphones, delivering an exceptionally high signal-to-noise (SN) ratio.
Note: FineMet Beads® is a registered product of Hitachi Metals.
Exclusive Use of Completely Non-Magnetic Structure Plugs
ACOUSTIC REVIVE’s headphone cables feature original headphone jacks and various plugs that are constructed entirely from non-magnetic materials with a rhodium-plated finish. Traditional headphone jacks have commonly used ferromagnetic materials, such as iron cores and nickel plating beneath the surface, which inevitably caused magnetic distortion. However, ACOUSTIC REVIVE’s headphone cables eliminate this magnetic distortion, resulting in exceptionally low distortion and a crystal-clear, distortion-free sound.
In summary, ACOUSTIC REVIVE’s new headphone cable employs high-quality materials and an advanced structure that are uncommon in traditional headphone cables. This groundbreaking design delivers a new dimension of sound quality, making it the ultimate choice for audiophiles seeking unparalleled audio performance.
Completely Non-Magnetic Vibration-Damping Structure for Various Headphone Terminals
We have developed original plugs with a completely non-magnetic and vibration-damping structure for ULTRAZONE & SONY, SHURE, SENNHEISER 650, and SENNHEISER 800 headphones. All plugs feature a combination of silver undercoating with rhodium plating, paired with a precision-machined body made from 2017S aerospace-grade aluminum alloy. This combination of dissimilar metals creates a vibration-damping structure that delivers the ultimate conductivity performance.
Additionally, the RHC-2.5HS-B-TripleC-FM and RHC-2.5HE-B-TripleC-FM cannon plugs incorporate our RBC-1M.
RBC-1M Plug Features: The RBC-1M plug is the first in the world to use a solderless screw-fastening method for cable connections, eliminating the signal degradation typically caused by soldering. In addition to its completely non-magnetic structure, it features a silver undercoating with rhodium plating, -196°C cryogenic treatment, and a vibration-damping body crafted from 2017S aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, ensuring the highest levels of conductivity and sound quality.
Phone Jacks and Various Plugs Also Sold Separately! For DIY enthusiasts, ACOUSTIC REVIVE offers the world’s first completely non-magnetic phone jacks and various plugs for individual purchase. Replacing your current phone jacks or plugs with these high-performance options will lead to a significant improvement in sound quality.
