Acoustic Revive utilizes the cutting-edge PC-TripleC/EX conductor, a revolutionary advancement in audio cable technology. Developed by FCM and Promotion Works, this conductor integrates 5N-grade silver and copper using an innovative forging process. This process ensures that the crystal structures of both metals are continuous in the direction of current flow, leading to remarkable performance benefits.
The finest materials are used to maximize transmission characteristics and sound quality
The ultimate conductor, PC-TripleC/EX. ACOUSTIC REVIVE has used the best materials to make the most of this performance. The insulating material that determines the final transmission speed is Teflon, which has excellent relative permittivity and dielectric dissipation factor. The cushioning material is natural silk, which prevents static electricity and achieves an organic tone and texture, a Teflon-coated flexible copper tube shield that completely prevents the intrusion of external noise, and a carbon CSF tube that removes static electricity and achieves a double shielding effect. Numerous original parts have been developed to maximize the perfection of the cable.
Newly developed RCA and XLR plugs
The performance of a cable is greatly affected not only by the conductor and cable structure, but also by the quality of the plug. ACOUSTIC REVIVE has been independently developing and adopting RCA and XLR plugs with screw-type construction that does not deteriorate conductivity due to soldering and vibration-damping construction that combines dissimilar metals. This time, we have changed the metal of the conductive part to tellurium copper, which boasts the highest conductivity of any plug material currently available, and have succeeded in further improving the conductive characteristics of the plug part.
World’s first! Cable with noise cancellation function
No matter how expensive an audio system is, some noise is inevitable during transmission. ACOUSTIC REVIVE has installed Finemet beads, a soft magnetic noise-removing material developed by Hitachi Metals, inside the cable, making it possible to eliminate noise during transmission in audio systems. In other words, ACOUSTIC REVIVE’s line cables and digital cables not only have excellent transmission characteristics as cables, but they can also be called the world’s first cables with noise removal function.
This cable, truly worthy of being called absolute, not only achieves the ultimate transmission characteristics but also eliminates noise during transmission.By simply incorporating this cable into any part of your audio system, you are guaranteed to achieve an ultra-high S/N ratio, ultra-wide range, accurate phase characteristics, and organic, vivid tone and texture that is impossible to achieve even if you replace it with expensive equipment.
What is the significance of single track?
Most cables currently on the market use twisted wires made by twisting together fine wires.
The reason twisted wires were adopted is simply because they are easy to handle. They
have been used for a long time because they are easy for users to use and easy for manufacturers to manufacture.
However, twisted wires cannot avoid “stray currents” that jump between the twisted wires, known as the strand jump phenomenon.
Stray currents that jump around using air or insulating material as a dielectric cannot be prevented even by insulating each wire and using a Litz wire structure.
This stray current causes extraneous sounds, noise, and distortion, making the sound muddier than you might imagine. The
only way to eliminate stray current is to use a single wire.
You will certainly understand this fact if you compare the cable you are currently using with our single-core cable.
Air-floating structure that does not interfere with energy transmission
It is said that cables transmit some kind of energy in addition to the original current transmission.
It is believed that this energy transmission is also related to the sound that comes out of the speaker when you hit the cable, but up until now cable manufacturers have been trying to thoroughly suppress the vibration of the cable itself by wrapping it with cotton or PP bands or filling it with rubber or resin, killing the energy transmission of the cable.
In fact, this was the cause of the suppressed sound lacking in energy.
ACOUSTIC REVIVE achieves an overwhelming sound quality with a sense of openness and outstanding energy by creating an air layer around the conductor.
Developing a natural silk tube that retains a sense of life without impairing sound quality
The cushioning tube to create the air layer is made of natural silk, which does not harm the sound quality but gives it a sense of life, and we developed it with the cooperation of Hasegawa Shoten, Japan’s largest silk manufacturer, and Ebisuzawa, a manufacturing factory. Materials near the conductor have a huge effect on sound quality, and PVC is particularly bad.
Flexible Teflon-coated copper tube shield provides perfect shielding without side effects
Braided wire has generally been used for shielding up until now. Even if this braided shield boasts a high braiding rate, in reality it is full of gaps, making perfect shielding impossible. Also, braided wire, like twisted wire, generates complex stray currents, which adversely affect the original signal transmission, causing noise and distortion. This is thought to have created the superstition that non-shielded cables sound better than shielded cables. Some cables also used aluminum foil as a shield, but the drawback was that aluminum has a strong inherent resonance, which caused noise and distortion, resulting in a peculiar tone.
This time, Shinagawa Shoko has adopted a new material, flexible Teflon-coated copper tube, which is much thicker than the foil, as the shielding material.
This not only provides overwhelming shielding properties that are incomparable to conventional braided or foiled cables, with no inherent quirks, extraneous noise, or distortion, but also incredible flexibility that far exceeds that of twisted-wire cables.
CSF tube provides double shielding effect by cutting radiated noise and absorbing electromagnetic waves
The outermost circumference of the cable is made of CSF tube (already available for sale separately!) which is made of a material modified to be acoustically optimal and mixed with carbon to the limit of production limits, which was jointly developed with SF tube manufacturer Shinagawa Shoko. This not only provides a double shielding effect in combination with the copper foil Teflon tube, but also cuts out radiated noise generated by the cable itself and absorbs electromagnetic waves.
