The air-insulated SPC-REFERENCE has been upgraded to a Teflon-insulated PCTripleC conductor! Achieves even higher quality and CP!
The Acoustic Revive SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC is a premium single-core speaker cable designed to provide audiophiles with an unparalleled listening experience. Featuring the innovative PC-TripleC conductor and a cutting-edge air-shielding structure, this cable minimizes transmission loss, distortion, and external interference to deliver an open, precise, and high-speed sound.
The Acoustic Revive SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC speaker cable is the perfect solution for audiophiles who demand the highest sound quality and performance. Its combination of PC-TripleC technology, air-shielding, and premium materials ensures a broad frequency response, precise sound imaging, and exceptional clarity for your high-end audio system.
The Acoustic Revive SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC is the ideal solution for audiophiles seeking premium audio performance, offering unparalleled sound clarity, shielding against noise interference, and a design that minimizes energy loss—all while maintaining a sleek, manageable form factor.
Adoption of PC-TripleC The SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC employs the revolutionary PC-TripleC conductor, developed using a forging process as the world’s first conductor exclusively for audio.
Air Insulation Structure In the SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC, dummy tubes are used as cushioning material, creating an air layer inside the cable. This design enhances conductivity and provides vibration damping through the insulating properties of air.
With six dummy tubes of varying sizes, the conductor is virtually suspended in mid-air, optimizing both conductivity and vibration control. This results in high-speed sound quality with a sense of openness and clarity.
Teflon Insulation at an Exceptional Price-Performance Ratio
In the SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC, the insulation material has been upgraded from conventional PE (Polyethylene) to Teflon (Fluoropolymer). Teflon is known for its excellent dielectric properties, which significantly enhance transmission speed. However, its high cost has been a major drawback.
While most commercially available audio cables using Teflon insulation are priced in the hundreds of thousands of yen range, the SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC achieves an outstanding price-performance ratio, offering this premium feature.
Copper Foil Shielding to Prevent External Noise
The SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC uses a copper foil shield to block external noise interference. Most commercially available speaker cables are unshielded, making them vulnerable to external noise, which can severely degrade the playback sound quality.
While some cables use tightly twisted conductors to prevent noise, over-twisting can lead to a sense of constriction in the sound and a reduction in energy. Other cables may use materials like aluminum or magnesium foil, but these are designed primarily for high-frequency shielding. They offer little to no protection in the audio frequency range and may even impart unwanted characteristics to the sound.
Copper foil shielding, on the other hand, is the most suitable material for shielding in the audio frequency range. It does not add any unwanted coloration to the sound and provides excellent signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio, resulting in high-quality sound reproduction.
Tourmaline-Infused Sheath
Many commercially available speaker cables use PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) sheaths with high visual transparency, primarily for aesthetic purposes. However, PVC has poor electrical properties, including high dielectric constant and poor insulation, which negatively impacts sound quality.
In contrast, the SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC features an outer sheath made from a specially developed material: polyethylene (PE) infused with tourmaline powder, a natural mineral. Tourmaline, often referred to as an “electric stone,” possesses a weak electric potential and has a unique property of emitting negative ions when exposed to external stress, such as electric currents, magnetic fields, or vibrations.
The tourmaline powder infused into the outer sheath of the SPC-REFERENCE-TripleC generates negative ions in response to the flow of electrical signals and speaker vibrations. This helps to prevent static buildup, improving the cable’s anti-static properties and preventing signal degradation caused by electrostatic discharge.
