Achieving a New Dimension in Cable Transmission PC-TripleC Cable

The elliptical shape of the PC-TripleC single-core conductor delivers a smooth, peak-free sound.

Developed as the world’s first conductor specifically designed for audio applications, PC-TripleC is crafted using a revolutionary forging process. This dream conductor is made from highly refined OFC (oxygen-free copper) that is meticulously purified at the micron level to remove impurities. Using the traditional Japanese forging technique, the crystal grain boundaries are aligned in the direction of electrical flow, a breakthrough in conductor technology.

Even the internal voids that could not be eliminated in single-crystal materials like PCOCC are now eradicated through the forging process, maximizing the conductor density to its limits. The sound quality achieved is unlike anything experienced before—high-density with an ultra-wide frequency and dynamic range (F-range and D-range). The result is a natural, smooth tonality with rich texture, energetic dynamics, and a new level of audio quality across all metrics.

Currently, most cables use stranded conductors, where multiple thin wires are twisted together to prioritize flexibility, such as bending ease. However, stranded conductors suffer from “strand jump phenomena,” where stray currents, or eddy currents, jump between individual strands, causing distortion and noise.

However, single-core conductors tend to be rigid and prone to resonance, which can introduce peaks in sound quality. Advantages of Single-Core Conductors

ACOUSTIC REVIVE was the first in the world to utilize “single-core” conductors in their cables. Traditionally, cables have used “stranded” conductors, where multiple fine wires are twisted together. However, stranded wires are prone to a phenomenon known as “strand jumping,” where stray currents (called eddy currents) occur as the signal jumps between individual strands during transmission. These eddy currents result in distortion, noise, and unwanted sound artifacts.

In contrast, single-core conductors eliminate the occurrence of eddy currents altogether, resulting in a transmission free from distortion, noise, and unwanted sound coloration.

PE Insulation with Φ2.6mm Extra-Thick Conductor

The EE/F-2.6 TripleC uses an ultra-thick Φ2.6mm conductor, delivering exceptional power supply capabilities.

While most indoor wiring materials use PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation, which has a poor dielectric constant (εr = 5.6), the EE/F-2.6 TripleC employs PE (Polyethylene) insulation, which has a superior dielectric constant (εr = 2.2). This greatly reduces transmission loss and improves transmission speed.

Copper Foil Shield for Strong Protection Against External Noise

The EE/F-2.6 TripleC is equipped with a copper foil shield that effectively blocks external noise interference. In ceiling spaces or other areas where LAN cables, antenna cables, and other power cables are routed together, noise from these cables can become a serious issue.

The EE/F-2.6 TripleC not only blocks noise from these adjacent cables but also reduces radiated noise from the indoor wiring itself. This shielding prevents interference with other LAN and antenna cables, further minimizing noise pollution.
