The Acoustic Revive RTS-30 Turntable Mat is a high-quality turntable mat designed to improve the sound quality of vinyl records. It features a unique construction and materials that aim to reduce vibrations and resonance, resulting in a cleaner and more transparent soundstage.
Key features and benefits:
By using the Acoustic Revive RTS-30 Turntable Mat, you can expect improved sound quality, reduced record wear, and a more enjoyable vinyl listening experience. This mat is particularly beneficial for turntables that are sensitive to vibrations or for those who want to maximize the sound quality of their vinyl records.
If you’re looking to upgrade your turntable mat and improve the sound quality of your vinyl playback, the Acoustic Revive RTS-30 Turntable Mat is a great option to consider. However, please note that it’s a premium-priced component, so it’s important to weigh the benefits against your budget and specific needs.
Up until now, turntable sheets have been made from various materials like metal, glass, felt, and rubber. However, these materials only added certain tonal qualities to the sound without actually improving its quality.
This turntable sheet is created by soaking natural minerals such as guiyangite and tourmaline in a special vibration-damping material. The silicon-based vibration-damping material has excellent properties for absorbing vibrations, effectively eliminating external vibrations from the motor of an analog player and from speakers by carving geometric grooves into it.
Furthermore, the blend of natural minerals creates powerful negative ions that prevent static electricity during record playback and activate the record’s surface, resulting in a significant improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio, a fresh, smooth tone, energetic texture, and a realistic, vivid sound image. This brings out the information engraved on the record as it is, surpassing the need for an expensive cartridge upgrade by far.
Prior to using the RTS-30, the frequency response is indicated in orange, while the frequency response post-RTS-30 usage is depicted in red. There is a noticeable increase in level across the entire range, along with a distinct extension in the ultra-high range and an improved dip below 300Hz.
Measurement: Atsushi Yamane, Altphonic Studio
Please note that the RTS-30 may not be compatible with some analog players. The following analog players cannot or may not be compatible with the RTS-30.
*Analog players that use suction turntables such as TechDAS and Micro Seiki (however, they can be used without suction)
*ROKSAN XERXES series TMS series (may be usable depending on the relative positions of the turntable, cabinet, and motor)
